- Description
- A very fine Bristol tea cup, slightly ogee, with elaborate moulded (but wonky) handle, painted with colourful swags of leaves and flowers on a pink line, suspended from gilt roundels and looping over blue wreaths, with gilt dentil rim and central rose in base of bowl, underglaze crossed swords, 1. in gilt for Henry Bone. Note slight firing mark decorated with gilt

- The cup has underglaze blue crossed swords mark, the saucer no underglaze mark. Both have a gilt 1. The marked cup was matched with an unmarked saucer then both decorated by Henry Bone
