- Description
- A fine Bristol double-lipped cream jug, with entwined double-stranded handle with stiff-leaf surface moulding to the lower bowl and a moulded Rococo foot, heavily decorated in giltwith an upper band of overlapping gilt circles between two gilt lines below a gilt line encircled by a pink and purple ribbon again betwen two gilt lines and repeated on the inside and topped off with gilt dentil rim. circa 1775. Mark:blue X gilt 1.
