Saucer — CRC# 1457
- Description
- A rather sad old Bristol saucer with much gilt and decoration worn, but formerly featuring the symbol of Love in a gilt shield with laurel festoons and chains suspended from gilt roundels, all surrounded be an embellished gilt band. Mark blue X1. gilt. A perhaps redeeming feature is that it was in similar condition when it was photographed for the Trapnell catalogue (no. 349) in 1912
