- A Plymouth small hexagonal sauceboat, the 'S' scroll handle with scroll thumb piece and shell moulded upper terminal, painted in underglaze blue with flowers and leaves, within crisply moulded 'C' scroll cartouches, with trailing flowers and leaves, and painted with two winged insects, the interior with flowers, beneath a looped border, 4 3/4" long, circa 1770, blue painted tin mark
