- The decoration matches 1503 and 1374. The decorator mark (24) is the highest number ever to be found. A plate with the decorator mark 24 is recorded in Mackenna. It is likely to date from about 1777/78 when the Bristol workforce peaked before being abruptly cut significantly in August 1778 due to Champion's financial difficulties
