A rare Bristol cylindrical mug, with harebell moulded ear shaped handle, painted in gilt,with the entwined monogram 'JK', within a black and gilt entwined leaf roundel, and with scattered black and gilt flowers, within entwined borders, circa 1774, no mark.

Bristol armorial jug finely painted with the arms of Pye of Faringdon, a shaped shield of Ermine a bend indented gules within a puce rococo border, the crest a cross crosslet between wings, flanked by flower sprays, the grooved handle with elaborate gilt borders. The two most likely members of the Pye family for whom this jug might have been made are Admiral Sir Thomas Pye (c.1708/9-1785) who served during the American Wars of Independence; and Henry James Pye (1745-1813), MP for Berkshire and Poet Laureate from 1790.

A Plymouth baluster shaped mug, with notched loop handle, painted in sepia with the crest of Sir John Nicholls, and monogram 'JN' in dry blue enamel, within an elaborate 'C' scroll and leaf cartouche, flanked by coloured sprays of flowers and leaves, beneath a gilt pendant flower head and scroll band, circa 1770, painted tin mark in puce

A rare Bristol cylindrical mug, with notched loop handle, finely painted in puce with the monogram 'JEM' (for Cookworthy's friend and physician Dr John Mudge) and painted in coloured enamels with a band of flowers and leaves, suspending swags of flowers, circa 1770, tin mark in gilt. The mug was likely made as a gift for Mudge.

A Bristol fluted oval sauceboat monogrammed 'REG' in gilt within a leafy roundel, painted with garlands of flowers suspended from gilt loops hanging from gilt rim line, X10 mark, circa 1775-80.
